While staying indoors, one gets lazy and indulges in hobbies but forgets to include any form of exercise in our routine. With gyms being closed to maintain social distance, at this time of health crisis, any kind of workout is good for the body. Invest 20-25 minutes from your day in a simple yet effective workout. It not only boosts your immunity but keeps your endorphins when we all are surrounded by panic and anxiety.
Do small workouts at home and well, Katrina Kaif might just be your buddy for it!
The Bollywood actress shared a workout from her home post on Instagram to motivate all her fans. In the series of videos, one can see her fitness instructor Yasmin Karachiwala perform the exercises besides her. Being easily practised at home, Katrina performs squats, side leg lifts, pushups, situps, reverse luge, planks and mountain climbers in the videos.
Demonstrating each exercise with the mellow song ‘Tones and I’ by Dance Monkeys, Katrina wrote the workout routine in her post’s caption. It includes, “1⃣ Squat & Side Leg Lifts – 3 sets x 20 reps
2 Reverse Lunge – 3 sets x 15 reps
3 Situp – 3 sets x 20 reps
4 Pushup – 3 sets x 15 reps (you can substitute with incline pushups or knee pushups)
5 Plank to ‘T’ – 3 sets x 15 reps
6 Mountain Climbers – 4 slow and 15 tempo x 3 sets”.
