The World Breastfeeding Week started on the 1 August with a theme ‘Support breastfeeding for a healthier planet’ in order to remove the stigma attached with breastfeeding and promote the wellbeing of lactating mothers.
Breastfeeding is the rudimentary first step for anyone’s survival in this world. Any newly born infant gets the required nutrition for growth from mother’s milk and in order to meet the necessity of the child, mom needs to stay healthy during the lactation phases.
