The season of festivities is here and we are all geared up to enjoy them with full hearts while staying safe inside the premises of our house. Since today is Raksha Bandhan which celebrates the bond between brothers and sisters and due to the unprecedented circumstances many of us are not able to meet our siblings and enjoy the festivity.
But you can always have good food to make the occasion memorable. Hence, on this special day we will tell you some of the easy to make ladoo recipes that you can enjoy any day and use it as a tease for your siblings over the video call.
Take a look:
1. Chocolate Ladoos:
Who doesn’t love chocolate (If you don’t, we definitely are judging you!) and this is the day you can indulge in this pleasure without being guilty. Make chocolate ladoos at home and enjoy a very desi version of chocolate. To make chocolate ladoos, take cocoa powder, sugar powder, condensed milk, milk powder and ghee. Mix all the ingredients together and make a soft dough. Make smooth small balls with it and refrigerate it for an hour to set. Now enjoy it anytime of the day.
2. Rava Ladoos:
Get the flavours of South India with the rava/ Semolina ladoo. Dry roast semolina in a pan and keep it aside. Now put ghee in a pan, add dry fruits in it and fry for a while followed by adding sugar in it. Once sugar starts melting, pour milk in it and let the sugar syrup become thick. Once it is done, put semolina and cardamom powder in it and mix well. Now apply ghee on your hands and make small balls. Rava laddoo is ready.
3. Coconut Ladoos:
Make yummylicious, mouth watering coconut ladoos at home in a very little time. Take powdered coconut in a pan and add sugar powder to it. Mix it well and cook it for a while with milk. Once the mixture thickens, add cardamom powder to it and let it cool down. Make small balls and roll them over desiccated coconuts. Delicious coconut ladoos are ready for you.
4. Dry Fruits Ladoos:
Dry fruits ladoos are healthy and the most delicious one which can be prepared in less than an hour. Take the dry fruits of your choice and fry them well. Grind dates and fig in a food processor and add condensed milk to it. Now add fried dry fruits to it and make small balls. Before serving, dust it with sugar powder and enjoy.
