Don’t give up your favorite snack, just snack smarter!
Those greasy circles of deliciousness are bad for your health but that doesn’t make you want chips any less, though. Thankfully, there are plenty of veggie based and better-for-you chip varieties out there which you can make at home too.
Have a look:
1. Sweet Potato
Healthy snacking, try sweet potato chips and you won’t even realize the difference. Slice sweet potato and toss it with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Cut a circle of parchment paper and place the slices on the parchment in the microwave. Cook on high for four minutes at 225 degrees, serve it immediately!
2. Kale
Sounds weird to taste but it’s a powerhouse of nutrients, so preheat the oven and tear dry into small pieces. In a bowl, drizzle kale with olive oil and seasonings of your choice. Bake it till it turns very light golden brown and crisp, best when fresh!
3. Spinach
Green coloured chips but good for your health so nibble on it while watching Netflix. For this, place spinach in a large bowl, add a few drops of olive oil and mix. Sprinkle the spinach with Italian herb seasoning and salt, on a baking sheet arrange it. Bake for eight minutes and enjoy!
