Netflix, the giant streaming company, is all set to please its viewers this fall with some remarkable movies. These Netflix Originals will hit the theatres ahead of their launch on the streaming network.
Earlier, Netflix entered a month long negotiation with the traditional Film Industry, where the Industry demanded a ninety days exclusivity right for any movie to be showcased only in theatre and claimed that they are not receiving enough revenues as movies soon go on air on the various streaming services.
Along with it, as per the rules and regulations of Oscar, movies nominated for the awards need to have a theatrical run. With big movies like ‘The Irishman’, ‘Marriage Story’ and more, Netflix is trying to make its way to the top in the list of streaming channels.

1. The Irishman
The crime drama by Martin Scorsese based on ‘I heard You Paint Houses’ of Charles Brandt, stars Robert de Niro, Al Pacino and Joe Pesci.
2. The Laundromat
The upcoming drama directed by Steven Soderbergh will star Meryl Streep which will be world premiered at the Venice Film Festival on 1 September.
3.The King
Timothee Chalamate and Robert Pattinson starrer ‘The King’ is an adaptation of several plays from Shakespeare’s Henriad.
Recently the trailer was released by Netflix in which the heir to the English throne Hal, played by Timothee, turns his back to his subject.
4. Dolemite is My Name
A biographical comedy movie based on Rudy Ray Moore stars Academy Award nominee Eddie Murphy.
5. Marriage Story
Upcoming comedy-drama film starring highest paid actress Scarlett Johansson, spins the story of a married couple going through a divorce.
6. Earthquake Bird
A mystery drama based on a novel of the same name with a star cast of Alicia Vikander, Riley Keough, Naoki Kobayashi and Jack Huston is all set to hit the theatres in November.
7. Klaus
First animated Netflix Original movie shows the story of relationship shared by a Postman and a toy maker in an old snowy town.
8. I Lost My Body
The animated movie will hit the theatres in November in which a hand’s quest for its body is shown.
9. Atlantis
The animated action film tells the tale of the famous empire of Atlantis where two groups fight against each other.
10. The Two Popes
The biographical drama starring Jonathan Pryce and Anthony Hopkins will be screened at the Toronto International Film Festival in September this year. It will showcase the story of a traditional pope and reformist pope trying to find a common ground behind the Vatican walls.
