Gully Boy and Delhi Crime have been the talk of the town! Another big achievement to its success story!
Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Gully Boy’ has already touched hearts and won awards at many film festivals. This time, it has added another one to its bag!
Already over the moon, especially with India’s official entry to the Oscars, the Zoya Akhtar directional has won the ‘Best Film from India’ Award at the Asian Academy Creative Awards.
The producer of the movie, Farhan Akhtar couldn’t contain his excitement and shared this news on Twitter.

Also, Netflix original ‘Delhi Crime’, based on the 2012 Delhi gang rape of Nirbhaya. The series is about the aftermath of the incident, where the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Vartika Chaturvedi, played by Shefali Shah, is tasked to find the rapists responsible for this heinous crime.
The show has bagged several awards in various categories at the Asian Academy Creative Awards. To name a few; Shefali Shah won ‘Best Actor in a leading role’ award followed by Richie Mehta for ‘Best Direction’ and ‘Best Original Screenplay’, Beverley Mills for ‘Best Editing’ and ‘Best Original Programme’ by a streaming service.
