1. Cabbage
Eat cabbage before you have more alcoholic beverages and don’t want to feel the side effects on kaing up. Also, cabbage with vinegar is a good hangover remedy. Chew cabbage or have it with tomato juice. It works wonders!
2. Tomato
Drink freshly prepared tomato juice or soup and add fresh lemon juice for fast relief. It has fructose, a type of sugar that compensates for the dehydration. The taste of tomatoes has a great effect in curing hangover as well.
3. Honey
One of the easily available home remedies is to have honey. Take three to four teaspoons of honey, this will help in digesting alcohol. Also, prepare a classic hot toddy with honey. Just boil one cup of water, add honey and lemon juice to taste!
4. Apple and Bananas
Eating raw fruits or having a fresh fruit salad is an effective way of treating hangovers but apples and bananas work the best. Eat apples or drink a banana shake with a tablespoon of honey for quicker relief. It helps to regain potassium and lost blood sugar.
5. Peppermint
A super helpful herb! Consume peppermint with tea or chew on three to five leaves. While making tea, put one to two teaspoons of the dried herb. Sip on one or two cups of tea for the trick to work.
