Just like movies, Bollywood celebs have taken the brand ads, campaigns and commercials game one notch higher. Now, stars dress up into multiple characters and shoot in exotic locations to convey the brand’s agenda!
We are happily surprised by the transformation and dedication, actors put towards the brands they are associated with. Check out the latest ads to catch our eye:
After winning hearts with her acting, Alia Bhatt is roped in as the new face for the popular ethnic wear brand, ‘Mohey- Manyavar’.
Taking to her Instagram, Alia shared pictures of her regal attire from the ad campaign, writing, “#DulhanWaliFeeling ♀Super excited to be the face of @moheyfashion. Here’s to new beginnings and beautiful lehengas 💃🏻✨”.
Donning the Indian traditional wedding wear, Alia is depicted as a gorgeous bride for the ad. She is introduced as a “thodi si nervous but bilkul nahi shy, thodi si emotional but nahi karegi cry” brand ambassador. The ‘Mohey- Manyavar’ ad shows the actress walking down the aisle and feeling a roller coaster of emotions. The one minute ad shows how from a sassy, doubtful, under confident, emotional bride, she turns into a confident and beautiful ‘dulhan’.
Check out the refreshing ad:
Earlier, Anushka Sharma was the brand ambassador of the brand along with her husband, Virat Kohli. But this year, Alia and Kartik Aaryan have replaced the power couple.
On the other hand, Anushka Sharma has returned to the commercials industry with a new avatar. The Bollywood diva was seen as a crisp and tough cop for the new campaign of sanitaryware brand, ‘Kerovit by Kajaria’.
The ‘Zero’ actress shared the video of the ad on her Instagram, captioned, “The Kerovit TVC is action, drama and entertainment-packed. Check it out and Share your crazy bathroom moves along with me. Watch the TVC here.#KerovitIsFreedom #KerovitByKajaria@kerovit”.
Anushka played the role of a cop for the first time in her career. In the ad, during inspection, she is awestruck by ‘Kerovit’ bathroom fittings which makes her break into a fully desi dance along with the Bhojpuri background music beats. The ad has many humorous and quirky elements incorporated in it, for the 360 degree audience.
By the way, this isn’t the first time that an actress has played the role of a ‘Singham’ kind of cop in commercials. Last year, Deepika Padukone played the role of a rowdy cop in a traffic commercial for the travel ticketing website ‘Goibibo’.
‘Goibibo’ had launched a TV campaign with its brand ambassador, Deepika Padukone. With subtle humour, they highlighted the ‘GoCash’ feature’s benefits and just like her ‘Simmba’ hubby Ranveer Singh, Deepika essayed the role of a ‘dramebaaz’ cop. With her acting, moves and dialogues, she did full justice to her quirky character in the commercial.
Go girls!
