2020 has been a rough year so far for all of us, worry not South Korean boy band BTS is here to save the day!
Every year, BTS releases a photo book and DVD collection that shows the best moments of the band in the previous year, called ‘BTS Memories’. For 2019, BTS dropped the teaser trailer which gave the fans something to look forward to.
A momentous year, 2019 saw BTS win many music awards like nomination for Top Social Artist and Top Duo/Group at Billboard Music Awards, Best K-Pop and Best Group at MTV Video Music Awards and won every award they were nominated for at the American Music Awards.
The band released their album, ‘EP Map of the Soul: Persona’, debuted at no.1 on the US Billboard 200 chart, making them the first group since The Beatles to have three no.1 albums in less than a year. ‘Boy with Luv’ broke the record of most viewed online music video in 24 hours. Also, BTS went for two record breaking world tours, ‘Love Yourself World Tour’ and ‘BTS World Tour Love Yourself: Speak Yourself’.
At the end of the year, BTS became the first artists in history to win all the four Daesangs at Melon Music Awards (MAMA). With a stellar year, the South Korean boy band ended it on a high note by performing on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve alongside Ryan Seacrest.
From live performances, photoshoot, rehearsals to music video shooting and awards night, ‘BTS Memories of 2019’ will have more than 10 hours of content, filled with some of the biggest milestones of the group that took their music on a global scale.
