Making a world premiere with a digital release on Amazon Prime Video on 31 July, ‘Shakuntala Devi’ trailer is out!
Vidya Balan plays the titular role and brings the life of the celebrated math genius on screen. She will make you believe that it’s drama or nothing and one has to work hard for their dream. In ‘Shakuntala Devi’, the actor’s charming smile and witty dialogues will make you fall in love with her character.
The trailer shows Shakuntala Devi as a quirky young girl whose best friend is mathematics, no rules and only magic. It takes us through her journey, from being a child prodigy to flying to London to prove that she indeed is a human computer. A pretty awesome entertainer!
In another aspect, ‘Shakuntala Devi’ shows her personal life where she shares a bittersweet relationship with her daughter Anupama Banerjee, played by Sanya Malhotra. This hints at the tones of drama that the biopic promises to offer.
Showing the life of Shakuntala Devi who earned her place in the Guinness Book of World Records in 1982, the movie is helmed by Anu Menon and also stars Amit Sadh and Jisshu Sengupta in pivotal roles.
