Lionel Messi’s venture in the record writing page is not halting anytime soon.
The ace footballer a few days back joined the elite group of players by registering 700 goals and now he has broken his own record.
In the ongoing La Liga League, Messi while playing against Villarreal CF registered his 19 assist as Antoine Griezmann scored the third goal for the Barcelona Football Club.
In registering 19 assists in the season 2019-2020, Messi shattered his own 2014-2015 record of 18 assists and is also the top scorer of La Liga with 22 goals.

After registering a victory of 4-1 against Villarreal, FC Barcelona will now go against Real Madrid for getting the top position of the season. Currently, Real Madrid is at the top of La Liga Chart with 77 points, leaving its biggest rival four points behind.
