The makers of the much awaited movie ‘The Sky is Pink’ have dropped the trailer:
A tale of love and hope, ‘The Sky is Pink’ revolves around a couple Aditi Chaudhary and Niren Chaudhary, spanning 25 years. From crazy-in-love lovers to raising two kids, their journey is narrated through the lens of their spunky teenage daughter, Aisha Chaudhary.
Based on a real life story, it shows how the young Indian author and motivational speaker goes through a heart-breaking diagnosis for a serious condition in her lungs, pulmonary fibrosis. It sheds light on her struggle from the perspective of her mom – Moose and dad – Panda.
To forget the emotional roller coaster, the trailer shows how the family goes on vacation. With ‘salt in the hair and sand in the toes’ feels in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, they enjoy the underwater world and a speed boat ride. Truly a breath-taking experience in the middle of the waters!
Going by the trailer, it is a sassy and goofy, high on emotional quotient showing the struggles of a family with an equal amount of humour, movie. It may leave you reaching out for the tissue box but Aisha’s full of life nature will put a smile on your face. Overall, the trailer certainly looks promising with the quirky one liners and dialogues.
With this movie, Priyanka Chopra is making her Bollywood comeback and it is definitely refreshing to see the global superstar in her comfort zone doing what she does best. With family dynamics in play, Farhan Akhtar, Zaira Wasim and Rohit Saraf strike a chord with their performances.
Helmed by the National Award winning Director Shonali Bose, the biographical drama is produced under the banner of RSVP Movies, Roy Kapur Films and Purple Pebble Pictures. ‘The Sky is Pink’ is ready to premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) on 13 September and will hit the theatres on 13 Octobers.

Marking the debut of Sunny’s son Karan Deol and Saaher Bamba, the trailer is a playful and romantic love story. Shot across various exotic locales of Manali, the trailer is of a typical Bollywood movie with cute mushy moments, actions and the usual couple banter.

The movie revolves how around how the couple meets in an adventure trip with Karan as a guide. Slowly, the relationship turns from arguments to attraction and love and then some mystery action sequences where Karan’s inner Sunny seems to come out.
‘Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas’ is set to release on 20 September.
