The anticipation for the most awaited film, ‘The Sky Is Pink’ starring Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim, finally comes to an end. Recently, the filmmakers have unveiled the first look of the film and fans are going crazy for it!
In the picture, the four actors are seen posing together with their backs facing the camera and their hands on each other. Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar can be seen standing on either side while Zaira Wasim and Rohit Suresh Saraf are in the middle.
Ahead of the release of the first look of the film, the filmmakers also revealed an exciting news for their fans. ‘The Sky Is Pink’ will have its world premiere at the upcoming Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) 2019 which will be held on 13 September.
Actor Farhan Akhtar and the Director of the film, Shonali Bose took to their social handle to confirm the news and making us fans more curious.
Sharing the first look of the film, Farhan writes a heartfelt note saying, “Hearts filled with gratitude and joy! Proud to share the news of the world premiere of #TheSkyIsPink at the @tiff_net on September 13. Releasing in cinemas on October 11!”
While Shonali wrote a long caption saying, “Thrilled to announce that The Sky is Pink will have its world premier at TIFF as one of 20 Gala presentations- the only Asian film this year in the Galas. The BEST most special and miraculous part is that this – the World premier – will take place on September 13, Ishan’s deathday. It’s a clear sign from him that he’s fully with his Mum and has blessed this film right from the start. In fact, it was last year on his birthday that the making of the film started as on that day I woke up in LA to a message that PC loved the script and wanted to meet me. With Ishan and Aisha (Chaudhary) above and a fantastic cast and crew below – we turned the sky pink.”
