1. Bay Leaf:

Bay leaf has antibacterial properties which cures many respiratory ailments. You can make a paste of it or use the oil and apply on your chest to get relief from cough and cold. When applied on chest, it also unclogs the lungs and eases out your breathing process.

 

2. Eucalyptus Oil:

Eucalyptus oil reacts with the mucous membrane and helps in unclogging the lungs and the respiratory pipe. It also suppresses any inflammation of the lungs and gives relief to the people with asthma and sinusitis.

 

3. Walnut:

Walnut is an excellent source of Omega-3 fatty acid which nourishes the lungs, helping it to fight the germs and radical elements that cause lung damage. It also helps in fighting asthma by improving the immunity of your lungs.

 

4. Apricot:

Apricot is a rich source of Vitamin A which lines the respiratory membrane. Eat apricot daily to nourish the respiratory tract lining which eventually lowers the risk of lung infection.
