And just like always, Billy Porter stole the show!
Taking home the Emmy, Billy Porter created history by becoming the first coloured person who is also openly gays to be nominated and win the award for his role as Pray Tell in FX’s ‘Pose’, in the ‘Lead Actor in a Drama Series’ category.
The actor was dressed in a shimmery black outfit adorned with over 130,000 crystals and a matching custom hat for the ceremony.
On the biggest night of television this year, ‘Fleabag’ claimed the most number of awards at the 71st Primetime Emmy Awards.
‘Fleabag’ won four honours while ‘Game of Thrones’ received 32 nominations but took home only two awards at the ceremony.
