Abu Jaani and Sandeep Khosla are celebrating their 33 years in the industry. Marking the occasion, the designers are sharing pictures of celebrities styled by them. Recently the designers shared a photo of mother-daughter duo Amrita Singh and Sara Ali Khan, who are oozing regality in the photo, clad in pure resham aari chain stitched and mosaic embroidered creation. A throwback picture from 2006 features Amrita with Sara in a beautiful blend of geometric and abstract khakas in multicoloured appliques.
Earlier the noted Indian Fashion designers, known for infusing Indian craftsmanship and textile heritage with modern day silhouette, shared a photo from their 2004 creation. Featuring Dimple Kapadia with her daughters Rinke Khanna and Twinkle Khanna, the work shows the Zardozi love of the designer duo.
In the family portrait, Dimple appears a true goddess in Khadi saree illuminated by the golden finesse of Zardozi work along with Twinkle, who glimmers in an anarkali set of brocade with multiple Zardozi borders, and Rinke in embroidered ghagra, which beautifully complements her mother’s and sister’s ensembles.
Along with the Bollywood celebrities, the designers also shared a photo of Nita Ambani and Isha in Bali Gota, an art of Gujarat. Their ensembles have multiple borders on the ghagra and dupatta, featuring beautiful floral bael motifs. Nita’s ghagra has a peacock Zardozi border, while Isha’s ensemble displays the radiance of a real gold Kuran lace border.
Nita, who always appreciate the work of the designers, called Abu and Sandeep as the epitome of Indian couture, and finds it an honour to wear their creations.
