A post regarding the privacy policy of Instagram has gone viral over the internet. Over the last few days, people have been sharing different variations of a post that claims Instagram is implementing new rules on the photo usage. According to the post, the photo-sharing app will now be able to use any account’s photos against that Instagrammer in court cases and in order to prevent the app from doing that, users are instructed to share the post, saying that they do not give permission for their photos or information to be used.
The post, full of wrong grammar, font changes and usual nonsense, not only gained attention from Netizens but is widely shared by numerous celebrities and Instagram influencers.
American songwriter and singer Pink shared the post on her instagram writing, “Better safe than sorry, even if it is a hoax. Sorry for whatever reason anyone would be offended by this. Have a nice day”
After being shared by many Hollywood celebrities, the post grabbed the attention of Indian film artists too. Bollywood actress and Yuvraj singh’s wife, Hazel Keech shared the post with the same caption as Pink’s.
Following her, Kalki also reposted the same message on her official Instagram page.

Without missing the opportunity, comedian Rohan Joshi wrote a hilarious post promoting his upcoming stand up special to be held in October in Mumbai. In the post, Comedian declares that he gives full permission to the Instagram to promote his show and also requests his fans to share his posts. Ending his post with “something something Instagram”, Rohan captions it as “NOT A HOAX. REPEAT. THIS. IS. NOT. A. HOAX.”
Whether it is a hoax or true news, we just laughed a little hard on Rohan’s take on the viral post for making the most out of it.
