Witnessing Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) taste victory against Rajasthan Royals (KKR), the team’s co-owner and Bollywood superstar, Shah Rukh Khan surprised his fans and cheered for the boys from the stands of the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
Registering a win in a row, Sachin Tendulkar sent out love and wishes to KKR, who won the match by 37 runs. The legend wrote a congratulatory post on Twitter after the team displayed a phenomenal performance, applauding Shubmann Gill, Eoin Morgan, Andre Russell, Kamlesh Nagarkoti and RR all-rounder Tom Curran.
Happy to see this tweet, SRK shared it and added that Tendulkar’s wise words mean everything to the KKR franchise. Proud of the team, the actor sent love to the boys but from a distance. Here’s the tweet loved by netizens:
Now anything I would say about @KKRiders & the boys will mean nothing. The great man has spoken. Just so happy to see all in the team propping up the youngsters & making it count. Love you boys ‘lots of pyaar from a little afar’ https://t.co/T8irMiHJi8

Apart from this, Sachin Tendulkar was also full of praise for RR’s batsman, Sanju Samson. The youngster produced a jaw-dropping moment in this IPL match by taking a stunning catch at the boundary line to dismiss Pat Cummins. He fell on his face on the ground while taking a dive but didn’t leave his hold on the ball, wow moment!
Master Blaster appreciated Samson’s brilliant fielding skills on Twitter and recalled the bitter-sweet memories of experiencing a similar catch situation during the 1992 World Cup against West Indies. Have a look at the former cricketer’s words for Sanju Samson:
Brilliant catch by @IamSanjuSamson!
I know how much it hurts when you bang your head like this on the ground. I experienced it in the 1992 World Cup in our match against the WI when I took a catch. #IPL2020 #RRvKKR
