Grabbing the man of the match title, KL Rahul with his 132 runs in 69 balls, the highest IPL score ever reached by an Indian batsman, became the first Indian to score the fastest 2000 runs in IPL.
Moreover, the 28-year-old athlete also crossed the record of cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar in achieving the feat in his 60 innings, three innings earlier to Sachins’s mark.
