You might love a cold glass of lemonade or a steamy bowl of lemon chicken. But did you know that there are tons of uses for lemons outside of the kitchen?
Turns out, your skin loves lemons, too. How? Scroll down:
1. As a Toner
Thanks to the Vitamin C and citric acid, lemon is a natural toner. Mix one ml of lemon juice with ten ml of rose water. Wipe your face with a cotton pad dipped in this mixture and wash your face with cold water. Make small portions of this toner and store it in the refrigerator, consume it within a week to get the instant glow!
2. For Ageing Skin
Sip on lemon juice while watching your favourite sitcom. For another amazing anti-ageing drink, add half teaspoon of honey and few drops of lemon juice to a cup of green tea. It will keep your skin and heart young!
3. Reduces Freckles
Lemons help to fade freckles- the tiny dark spots on people’s faces. Put fresh lemon juice on the freckles using a toothpick at night. Try this twice a week, until your freckles fade!
4. Vanish Pigmentation
Showing its magic, lemon reduces pigmentation. For the facial skin, apply a few drops of lemon juice on the pigmented areas for 20 minutes and wash it off with cold water. Be surprised by seeing the skin patches reduce!
