‘Aala re aala’, ‘Ganpati Bappa Morya’, ‘Sadda dil vi tu’ and more rekindles the feel of Ganesh Chaturthi right from the streets of Mumbai. The most celebrated festival of Mumbaikars is around the corner and we all know how much Bollywood loves celebrating it. With huge idols of Lord Ganesh and a whole entourage following him dancing and singing, Bollywood peps up the whole celebration through their iconic numbers.
To bring more joy to the celebration, a new single from Ayushmann Khurrana starrer ‘Dream Girl’ is out giving rise to nostalgia associated with the iconic Marathi song ‘Dhagali Lagli’. One of the most catchy songs from the land of Bollywood has left its mark on everyone’s heart since forever. This time Bollywood recreated it with Meet Bros, Mika Singh and Jyotica Tangri.
The song opens with the chanting of ‘Ganpati Bappa Morya’ and our own Marathi Mulga, Ritesh Deshmukh, calling out Ayushmann to groove to the tunes of Marathi song rather than general trend of Punjabi remakes. The song is colourful and stays true to the original feel of Mumbai’s legendary number with Nushrat Bharucha reprising the famous dance steps of Lavni and massive entroupe following her.
Sharing the song on the social media handle, Ayushmann Khurrana wrote, “Aala re Aala! ⚡
