Everyone is aware of the ongoing #SareeTwitter trend, where women are posting stunning pictures in their favourite saree. Since Monday, this new trend wrapped the twitter and the number of #SareeTwitter is continuously increasing. No one has any clue about how it started but netizens are loving it.
B-Town celebrities happily picked up the challenge and posted their pictures, but it got more exciting when Ayushmann Khurrana chose to embrace six yards of elegance, in his own way. He made a post of him in a teal saree, green bangles and flip flops from the sets of his upcoming film, Dream Girl. Even in the movie Ayushmann will be playing the role of a man who cross dresses as Sita, the Ramayan character.

Meanwhile the leading Dairy Company, Amul, known for making bold trendy doodles also got swayed away with the trend and posted the Amul girl’s picture wrapped in saree saying, ‘Saree Duniya Dekh Rahi Hai’.

Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, the fashionista of Bollywood, gave another twist to the challenge by posting a before and after photo, where people can see Sonam adorably wearing a purple saree in her childhood.

Saree challenge is not losing the heat and now even the Politicians couldn’t miss it. Congress General Secretary, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, took it to her twitter handle posting an old photo of herself in a pink Banarsi saree, taken on the day of her wedding. After her saree picture went viral, receiving hundreds of ‘Happy Anniversary’ wishes, Priyanka thanked her followers clarifying that her anniversary is in February, giving a nudge to her husband to take her out on a dinner any day.
