Guess, who is the new star joining the iconic ‘83’ movie?

It is none other than one of the finest and humorous actor of Bollywood, Boman Irani.
Boman has featured in many Hindi films and is known for his roles in ‘3 Idiots’ and ‘Munnabhai MBBS’. In this movie, he will play the role of the legendary wicketkeeper and opening batsman, Farokh Engineer.
Director Kabir Khan broke the news on his Instagram, saying, “Boman in the house! 😊Welcome aboard @boman_irani #ThisIs83”
Ranveer Singh, who will essay the role of the former Indian captain Kapil Dev could not contain his excitement to share the screen space with Boman. Boman is also hyped up to be part of such a multi-starrer movie. ‘83’ is based on Kapil Dev and his legendary Indian team who lifted the 1983 World Cup and the 1999- 2000 phase of Kapil coaching the Indian team.
The movie has an amazing star cast, featuring Deepika Padukone as Romi Bhatia, Kapil Dev’s wife. Along with it are the men in blue, portrayed by Pankaj Tripathi, R Badree, Hardy Sandhu, Chirag Patil, Saqib Saleem, Tahir Bhasin, Ammy Virk and Saahil Khattar.
