Turning 30, the Bollywood diva has come a long way in the film industry by starting out in 2014 with ‘Heropanti’ alongside Tiger Shroff. Her charming smile and girl-next-door persona has made Kriti Sanon part of many hit entertainers like ‘Housefull 4’, ‘Lukka Chuppi’, ‘Dilwale’ and ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’.
Staying home, Kriti Sanon has been spending a lot of time in the kitchen, baking her favourite chocolate desserts for the family. Have a look at the actor’s beautiful food creations she shared with her netizens on the gram:
1. Multigrain Chocolate Babka
A popular Jewish braided bread, Multigrain Chocolate Babka is loved by Kriti Sanon. To make this, dissolve yeast in warm milk along with sugar and set it aside, mix cream, butter, sugar, oil and vanilla extract with egg yolks. Later on, add flour, salt and let the yeast to form a soft dough, cover it with plastic wrap. Roll it and in a bowl, mix chocolate, cinnamon and butter to get a chunky texture for the filling. Spread the chocolate and roll the dough, twist the end and line the load with parchment paper. Spray it with cooking oil and wrap it with a tea towel till the babka rises on medium flame. Brush egg wash over the babka and bake it in the oven at 180 degree for 25 minutes till it turns golden brown.
2. Chocolate Tarts
How much chocolate is too much chocolate? Kriti Sanon doesn’t seem to care but enjoys it more than ever!
Combine flour, sugar and salt in a bowl and add butter to it. Whisk egg yolk and ice water, combine together and bind the dough, refrigerate for 30 minutes. Roll the dough and preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Using a pastry brush, coat the crust with egg white and bake for eight minutes until the tart is golden. On the other side, heat heavy cream and milk and add chopped chocolate to it to melt. To blend more, add sugar and salt and pour this chocolate filling into the tart. Bake it for 20 minutes at 325 degrees. Let it cool and then cut.
3. Chocolate Coconut Bytes
Not many are a fan of chocolate with coconut, but Kriti Sanon is. For this, put coconut in a blender and transfer it to a bowl, add honey or maple syrup, coconut oil and vanilla extract to get a thick paste. Roll small balls with this mixture, place it in the refrigerator. Melt chocolate until it’s smooth in an oven and lay it out on wax paper. Roll each coconut ball in the chocolate and refrigerate till it hardens.
