As the Indian cricket team is gearing up for their next match against West Indies, Virat is making sure that he is fit for the challenging matches ahead. The Indian skipper is working on his own in Georgetown, Guyana.
Kohli is back to his regular fitness routine and is leaving no stone unturned to be in his best form in terms of fitness. He shared a video on his Instagram, sharing details about his weights transformation in the last three years, writing, “Always take more time to get the technique right before wanting to take the weight up. Same exercise 3 years apart. Regular work on it and constantly focusing on technique has improved my mobility and full body strength too. So always be patient with learning something new. Stay fit stay healthy 💪 💯”
Virat is one of the fittest cricketers in the Indian cricket team, he’s the one who introduced the fitness trend in the national team. His fitness change started when he began training with, Shankar Basu, the fitness trainer.
In the last few years, he has achieved a different level of fitness, setting an example for others. In August 2017, after a few months of him becoming the captain across all formats, he had a talk with the team management and from then, he has made it mandatory for each player to go through the fitness test to retain his place in the national team.
