Turning the world into a place filled with Potter heads, author JK Rowling is back, but not with a ‘Harry Potter’ spin-off. She has released bedtime stories titled ‘The Ickabog’, in the form of a fairytale for children!
Set in an imaginary land, ‘The Ickabog’ is a standalone story about truth and the abuse of power. The book will be free to read online, helping to entertain children and families stuck at home during the coronavirus pandemic.
Taking to her Twitter handle, JK Rowling announced the release of chapters of ‘The Ickabog’ online with daily instalments to follow until 10 July. The book will be published in print later this year. Along with it, the author has asked children to contribute artwork and illustrations for the story. A chance to let your imagination run wild!
