Shooting World Cup is going on and Indian shooters are back-to-back winning gold medals and bringing it back home with the widest smile!
At the ISSF World Cup 2021, Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar scored a total of 462.5 points at the men’s 50M Rifle 3 Positions event to win gold. With this gold clinch, India continued to lead at the top of the medals tally, making it their eighth gold medal in the tournament. This is the 20 year-old shooter’s Tomar’s first senior WC individual medal as well, congratulations!

Meanwhile, in the skeet mixed team competition of the ISSF World Cup 2021 which is being played in New Delhi, India’s Ganemat Sekhon and Angad Bajwa beat Kazakhstan’s Olga Panarina and Aleksandr Yechsenko, by shooting and taking home the gold medal.
Coming to the Para Shooting World Cup, 19 year-old Indian shooter, Manish Narwal shattered the world record to finish with 229.1 points, clinched gold in P4 mixed 50m pistol SH1 event. The Indian flag is flying high as this is the continent’s second gold medal after Singhraj claimed the first position in P1 men’s 10m air pistol SH1 event.
