The world is heading towards the end, especially with the continuous destruction and calamities happening around us.
Leonardo DiCaprio brought to light about what’s happening to our motherland and in which direction 2020 is heading towards. Highlighting five global risks, we, human beings are not putting enough effort to change or adapt to the current scenario.
Extreme weather events like the floods in India and Australian bushfires are destroying homes and businesses. It’s affecting infrastructure and threatening loves of fellow beings. To pile it up, there is a failure of climate change migration and adaptation. Although it is a threat, people are alarmed about it and have started to respond to the climate crisis.
With biodiversity on stake, we have already lost a huge number of wild mammals, plants and insects. The only keys to restore the ecosystem is to plant trees, reduce pollution and protect the oceans. Disasters are becoming as common as a cold, let it be natural or man-made. Earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, geomagnetic storms, oil spills, environmental crime or radioactive contaminations, it is all affecting us and our surroundings.
We need to do something to save Mother Earth, sooner the better!
