A new group calling feature has been rolled out on Google Nest Hub Max where users can make group video calls with Duo and Google Meet.
Now, you can check on family and friends for up to 32 people on Duo or work meetings with up to 100 people via Meet. All this with just a simple voice command from Google Assistant!
To get started, create groups on the Duo mobile app and ask your HUB Max, “Hey Google, make a group call”. Tap on the Duo group you want to connect with and enjoy the video call while staying in view and freely moving around your house.
Users can also connect with up to 100 people on Google Meet for fitness classes, book clubs or community gatherings. If you want to call into a meeting, you just need to say “Hey Google, join a meeting” and then tap the option of enter meeting code, type it in to join.
Making connections easier and better, the more the merrier!
Shows, tunes, family, friends—they’re all in one place. And now, you can say hi to a few familiar faces with Duo group calls or hang out with up to 100 people with Google Meet on your Nest Hub Max. https://t.co/h7xDLBUe4a #HelpAtHome pic.twitter.com/tU06gL7BKa
