The voice of Disney’s Minnie Mouse, for more than 30 years, Russi Taylor passed away at 75 in Glendale, California. The Walt Disney Company did not give the cause of death but shared this news on their official page on Twitter.

Taylor had been Disney’s pick from a group of 200 candidates at a 1986 audition and was named a Disney Legend in 2008.
Russi has been a part of films like, ‘Who Framed Roger Rabbit’, ‘Runaway Brain’, ‘Get a Horse!’ and ‘Mickey, Donald, Goofy: The Three Musketeers’. She played Minnie on TV shows, ‘Mickey Mouse Works’, ‘House of Mouse’, ‘Mickey Mouse Clubhouse’ and ‘Mickey and the ‘Roadstar Racers’.
The veteran actress always said, “I never wanted to be famous. The characters I do are famous, and that’s fine for me.”
Also, the artist lent her voice to Disney theme park projects and classic TV animated series like ‘TaleSpin’, ‘ The Little Mermaid’, ‘Buzz Light-year of Star Command’ and ‘Kim Possible’. She was the voice of Strawberry Shortcake and Pebbles Flintstone and worked in ‘The Mary Tyler Moore Show’ and ‘The Simpsons’.
