Infinity Ward and Activision have dropped in the trailer for their renowned and anticipated first-person shooting game, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, on Thursday. A reboot of the fourth game of the series reimagines the concept of a war game set in modern times by focusing on the current political climate.
The multiplayer mode will feature new weapons as well as two against two experiences in a gunfight with a mode supporting over 100 players in a game. The trailer shows the landing of the players at different war fields, fully geared up for battle, to become an ultimate winner.
The flashy new trailer gives an insight into the intensive battleground, which would keep the players on edge. A more photo-realistic game shows the tactical shooting of the players in various light conditions. With rovers, tanks, and drones players will be able to keep an eye on their enemies. Infrared identification and night vision goggles would be helpful in detecting a hidden enemy in the dark. The whole trailer looks impeccable with Metallica’s, ‘Enter Sandman’, as the background score and teams screaming ‘breach’, ‘target down’ and other war terms.
Call of duty: Modern Warfare will bring the same old engaging experience as its previous seasons, but with many fresh developments.
This season will allow a cross-play between PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Fans can pre-order the game now and get early access to beta where the testing will begin in September. While the game is slated to release on 25 October worldwide.
