Amitabh Bachchan paid an emotional tribute to late actor Rishi Kapoor at the ‘I for India’ concert and shared a video about the same on his social media.
Talking about the first time he met Rishi Kapoor at Raj Kapoor’s home, Big B stated that most of his meetings with Chintu ji were at RK Studios, where he was preparing for his role in ‘Bobby’. The ‘Shenshah’ of Bollywood added that Rishi Kapoor’s style of walk was confident like his grandfather Prithviraj Kapoor.
Working together in several films like ‘Kabhie Kabhie’, ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’ and ‘102 Not Out’, the superstar remembered their shoot days. Big B spoke about Chintu ji’s sincerity towards dialogues, his playful attitude on set, the comic spark that would lighten up any situation and how he invited everyone to play cards between shots for serious competition.
Even during the toughest battle of his life against leukemia, Amitabh Bachchan told that Rishi Kapoor would never lament his condition. Concluding the IGTV, the actor got teary and said that he was certain that Chintu ji left for the heavenly abode with a gentle smile.
