To all the followers of Lewis Hamilton, the British driver is coming back on tracks!
Lewis Hamilton post Bahrain racing fell prey to the ongoing pandemic and was tested COVID positive which also made him miss the Sakhir Grand Prix.
Now, the seven time world champion is all set to race in the concluding Grand Prix of this season at Abu Dhabi. Serving 10 days isolation, the Mercedes star has been tested negative of the viral contraction.
Mercedes, after the medical reports of Lewis came out, shared a post on their official social media page where the company stated: “The Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team is pleased to confirm that Lewis Hamilton will drive for the team in this weekend’s Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.” along with announcing that George Russell who filled in for the British Driver will return to Williams Racing for the final event of the 2020 season.

George Russell also shared a gratitude note on his official social media account and wrote, “Seriously though, glad to see @LewisHamilton back and fighting fit. Had a blast with @MercedesAMGF1 but now I’m buzzing to put everything I’ve learned into action with my team @WilliamsRacing. Gonna give it everything this weekend – just as they do for me week in, week out”.
