Finally, the wait is over!
Our favourite character Ash Ketchum of ‘Pokemon’ series has finally achieved the title of the ‘Pokemon Master’ after a wait of 22 years. In the most recent episode of ‘Pokemon: Sun and Moon’ series, the ten-year-old boy who was on his quest of capturing all the Pokemons, won the championship of Aloha League along with the most loved character and his favourite Pokemon Pikachu.
The series which has run over two decades starting from 1996 on a Japanese channel, came a long way in the history of animated shows. After innumerable fights with the famous Team Rocket Trio and other league matches, spreading over six series and 22 seasons, finally, the red and white-capped boy achieved his dream to be the best among all Pokemon trainers.
As soon the 139th episode of ‘Pokemon’ was aired, the news about the Ash’s win went viral and the official handle of ‘Pokemon’ shared a heartwarming message to congratulate its famous fictional character, writing, “Anything’s possible when you believe in yourself, Trainers. ”.

Along with congratulatory messages from fans and followers of the cartoon series from across the globe, the official voice of Ash, Veronica Taylor, also shared a post on her social media handle writing, “Congratulations to Ash Ketchum on winning the Pokémon League from Ash’s ‘younger’ self, circa 1998…yup, hard work, determination, good friends, and a bit of luck pay off! #pokemon #ashketchum #winning”.
