While fans will have to wait until 2019 for season 3 of Stranger Things, but a Netflix teaser promises that it will be worth the wait. The streaming service just dropped a new, rather ominous new trailer showcasing the names of next season’s episode.
The video features the titles of each of the season’s episodes, which appears on screen one by one, as the show’s instrumental theme plays in the background.
Season 3 will feature 8 episodes, with the following titles, Suzie, Do You Copy?, The Mall Rats, The Case of the Missing Lifeguard, The Sauna Test, The Source, The Birthday, The Bite, and The Battle of Starcourt.
The teaser wraps up with the following message, ‘In the summer of 1985, the adventure continues.’ The final two final episode hints at an epic battle, and will the Hawkins residents survive it? We will have to wait and watch.
Earlier this year, Netflix released a teased a sly teaser trailer, with a commercial for a new Hawkins mall titled Starcourt Mall, which is filled with 1980s culture references and nostalgia. Judging by the finale title, Starcourt will be the location for the an epic battle.
Earlier, series co-creator Ross Duffer teased that season 3 will be fun. He was quoted as saying, ‘While it’s our most fun season, it also turns out to be our grossest season. We’re inspired by John Carpenter’s The Thing. We’re inspired by Cronenberg.
‘We have a little bit of a George Romero vibe in there as well. There are horror movies and horror masters that we haven’t really paid tribute to as much in previous seasons that we are definitely going to get into this season,’ Duffer added.
