With the worldwide release of royal drama ‘The Crown’ Season three, public interest in the royal family is once again piqued. While the episodes are streaming online on Netflix, Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, entered into a controversy due to his prior associations with Jeffrey Epstein and turned the eyes of media towards him.
Epstein was a financier hailing from America and was convicted of sexual abuse. While the Royal House was celebrating the 72 marriage anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II and The Duke of Edinburgh, the second son of Her Majesty, Prince Andrew’s friendship with Epstein definitely raised some eyebrows on the Royal works.
Without entertaining the questions regarding Jeffery and his victims any further, Prince Andrew shared his statement on this matter and stepped down from the Royal duties for which Her Majesty ‘Queen Elizabeth II’ gave permissions.
Issuing his statement online on the official social media platform, the Royal house wrote, “A statement by His Royal Highness The Duke of York KG.” where the Duke of York also extended his support to all the victims and condemned the actions of Jeffery Epstein.
