The Alpine Academy Team of Formula One has unveiled the five drivers’ lineup for 2021!
Young drivers Oscar Piastri, Guanyu Zhou, Christian Lundgaard, Victor Martins and Caio Collet are set to feature in the driver development programme, this year.
2020 F3 champion Oscar Piastri along with Guanyu Zhou and Christian Lundgaard will contest for the Formula 2 championship in 2021. Zhou and Lundgaard will remain in the UNI-Virtuosi and ART Grand Prix squads with whom they also raced in 2020, while Piastri will join forces with the PREMA Racing squad, he also made his F1 testing debut in Bahrain.
Meanwhile, 2020 Formula Renault EuroCup champion Victor Martins and Caio Collet will compete in Formula 3 as teammates for the MP Motorsport squad. Looking forward to the start of the season, this is their next step in the junior categories before heading towards the F2 lineup.
