Xbox Live suffered an outage at the US Prime time for five and a half long hours where users were not able to sign in to their account and brought an existential crisis in the lives of gamers.
As the complaints flooded the social media, Xbox shared a tweet stating: “We are aware that users may not be able to sign-in to Xbox Live at this time. Our teams are currently investigating to fix this issue.”

Moreover, even when the glitch was fixed some users faced intermittent issues while entering the three games; Rouge Company, Smite and Rec Room. Gamers also faced issues with Purchasing Content and Party Chat features of the Xbox.
The company throughout the outage, kept the users updated and finally after a tough time of five and a half long hours announced that things are back to normal. In their social media post, Xbox developers also wrote, “Users should once again be able to sign-in, complete purchases and join chat sessions. Thank you for your patience and as always, we’re listening.”
