What will happen if YouTube stops working? Getting shudders?
This nightmare actually came true.
Sending the entire world in a shock, Google-owned video streaming platform YouTube faced a global outage early in the Thursday morning when the site was loading but videos were going in an infinite buffer.
As this global platform faced the technical glitch for over an hour, meme fest started over the social media platforms where netizens expressed their grief and called it an existential crisis along with #YouTube Down.

Acknowledging the issue, the YouTube team also put up a note over their official Twitter handle by writing, “If you’re having trouble watching videos on YouTube right now, you’re not alone – our team is aware of the issue and working on a fix. We’ll follow up here with any updates.”, and tried to calm the world.

The glitch affected other YouTube services as well, such as YouTube TV, movies and music.
Later issuing an apology, the YouTube team also made an announcement about re-establishing the service by writing, “And we’re back – we’re so sorry for the interruption. This is fixed across all devices & YouTube services, thanks for being patient with us”.
