Biles led from the start, nailing her first discipline with a superb vault which scored 15.223 points. She followed that up with a solid display on the uneven bars, where she posted the third-highest score, to consolidate her lead. Biles dominated the beam and sealed gold with the highest score of 14.400 in the floor exercise.
Simone Biles, FX: Triple double (Biles II), awesome. The Biles – double layout half out. Front layout 1/1 to full twisting double tuck. Double double tuck. A few out of bounds in this routine, but they won’t matter. 14.4 for 58.999. 2019 WORLD ALL-AROUND CHAMPION! #Stuttgart2019
