Just when one thought that COVID cases have reduced in Australia and crowds can be welcomed into the grounds, coronavirus seeps in and causes havoc.
The state of Victoria is going under a five day lockdown from tonight due to a sudden upsurge in COVID cases and with the ongoing Australian Open, normal viewers cannot enter and catch the live matches of the Grand Slam.
Through Twitter, this news was announced, there will also be a refund for all the ticket holders so now sit home and cheer for your favourite tennis players. This decision was taken keeping in mind about the safety of the players, staff and people.
