With each passing day, coronavirus cases are increasing rapidly in India and going ahead with a record rise. As the country hit the 20,000 cases mark, Karnataka which was doing fairly well till a week has seen a shocking rise in COVID-19 cases.
For the first time, the state of Karnataka recorded 1,000 plus cases with just 783 of them being from Bengaluru. Although the recovery rate is good with mortality rate being low, the state is still seeing a sudden up in COVID-19 patients.

To control this, the state government has announced curfews on Sundays as well as changed timings of night curfew. For night curfew, citizens will not be allowed out of their homes from 9:00pm to 5:00am and on Sundays, only essential stores will be open from 5 July.
