The fourteenth season of Indian Premier League is slated to take place in between April and May, 2021 but ahead of the Franchise matches, auctions date and list has been dropped for the netizens.
Sponsored by Vivo, the IPL 2021 Player Auction list has been announced with 292 cricketers set to go under the hammer on 18 February, 2021 in Chennai. Total 1114 cricketers have registered out of which the franchises shortlisted the players for the auction ceremony.
Scheduled to start at 1500 hours IST, the auction will bring 164 Indian players, 125 overseas players and 3 players from Associate Nations. Moreover, Harbhajan Singh, Kedar Jadhav along with Glenn Maxwell, Steve Smith, Shakib Al Hasan, Moeen Ali, Sam Billings, Liam Plunkett, Jason Roy and Mark Wood have been chosen to be placed in the highest reserve price bracket of INR two crores.
