Tura Turi is the brainchild of sisters Priyanka & Payal, an artist & a journalist! The brand strives to bring alive ART in the form of garments. ART for them, is a fluid term, as their garments incorporate traditional once-forgotten motifs and art forms, that are blended beautifully with Indian textiles and prints.
Their collections are a playful and colourful moodboard of styles that focus on that feel good moment where life is PERFECT. Their kaftans and dresses are specially catered to women who find it tough to get outfits that cater to their body structure. Priyanka and Payal have carefully curated styles that cater to each woman, “Our clothes know that someone is conscious about their chest while someone wishes they could lose that tummy just a little bit more. Our clothes know that mums need pockets so they can be hands free to build that sand castle. Our garments reintroduces the glamorous, fun loving you to You..” explaining Priyanka.
The brand has recently included Twinning outfits for the entire family – From a mermaid theme dress for the beach to a camouflage jungle inspired print, glamorous kaftans to couples combo outfits. Stitched in cotton malmal & modal, the outfits are soft and perfect for the summer yet drape each body structure to perfection. The fabrics are chosen to incorporate an element of sustainability in their garments. While cotton is biodegradable, the modal itself requires 20 times less water during production. The styles are available for babies 1 year + to adults in XXL size.
