Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abhishek Bachchan have tested positive for coronavirus. The news broke out late last night, when the Senior Bachchan tweeted about his condition and informed the world. In his tweet he added that his family members and staff have been tested and they are awaiting results.

Soon, his social media was filled with other celebrities and well wishers, wishing for a speedy recovery from him. But before his fans could even start praying, Junior Bachchan updated his fans and stated that both he and his father have been admitted to hospital, with mild symptoms.
Earlier today both my father and I tested positive for COVID 19. Both of us having mild symptoms have been admitted to hospital. We have informed all the required authorities and our family and staff are all being tested. I request all to stay calm and not panic. Thank you. 🙏🏽

Giving an update about the Bachchans, Maharashtra Health Minister took to Twitter and stated that ‘they are stable with mild symptoms and fever’. The father son duo is admitted at Nanavati Hospital currently, while Aishwarya and Jaya Bachchan have also taken the test and their results are awaiting. Take a look:
