Oscars night has ended and apart from some predictable victories and a few surprise ones, this years’ Oscars also witnessed several statement pieces adorned by the celebrities while they walked the red carpet.

Her black Dior Cape had the names of all female directors embroidered who were snubbed at the 92 Academy Awards. The lady paired her cape with a black off shouldered attire, covered with a sheer dress of golden work. Keeping her hair and makeup simple, Natalie talked about her motive behind donning the dress which was remarkable.

Salma Hayek came dressed in an off-white silk-georgette one-shoulder gown from Gucci. With draping on the bodice and sleeves, crystal straps and a front slit, Salma made our heads turn with her silver stone-studded headpiece which accentuated the entire ensemble. Her headpiece definitely became the talk to the town once she stepped on the red carpet.
3.Mindy Kaling’s Neckpiece:
Stunning the red carpet, the American comedian, writer and actress, Mindy Kaling looked ever gorgeous in the marigold column gown from Dolce Gabbana. Her single shouldered dress with asymmetrical pleats looked even more attractive with the Chopard jewel pieces. Her ice-frosted diamond neckpiece just illuminated the entire personality of Kaling who chose to go for dark eye makeup and simple side-parted hairdo.
4.Billy Porter’s Shoes:
Is there anything that Billy Porter can not pull off? From wearing a shimmery bejewelled hat for Grammys that also showcased the technology, Billy Porter went for a fiery look for Oscars. Looking like a ball of fire in his feathery, voluminous dress, Billy’s shoes from Jimmy Choo were definitely buzzworthy. The high-heeled gladiator golden shoes with stone detailing appeared to be the part of the dramatic dress of Billy and the way he carried was admirable.
5.Waad Al Kataeb And The Arabic Words:
With the poetic words “We dared to dream and we will not regret dignity” embroidered in Arabic, ‘For Sama’ filmmaker, Waad Al Kataeb wore a pretty pink gown for the Oscars. Taking the cause of her documentary feature even further, Al Kataeb’s gown was a show in itself which received appreciation from many eminent personalities of the fashion world.
