For those of you who lean more towards things that are trending than reading and re-reading books (that too the old way – physical books), Shantaram is an epic novel about ‘Bombay’ by Gregory David Roberts. The story line follows a convicted Australian bank robber who escapes the Pentridge prison and flees to India.
The fans, here is news for you. Radhika Apte recently announced that she would be seen as a series regular with Richard Roxburgh, opposite Charlie Hunnam, in Apple’s international drama series ‘Shantaram’. The series is based on the book and to be honest, the ‘Bombay Lover’ in me can’t keep calm.
