Winner of 2020 Women’s NBA (WNBA) Championship, Seattle Storm!
Sweeping the Las Vegas Aces with a dominant 92-59 win, Seattle Storm won their fourth WNBA, previously winning in 2004, 2010 and 2018. This season was dedicated to Breonna Taylor and the Say Her Name campaign, played in Bradenton, Florida.
Sue Bird won her fourth WNBA championship ring while Breanna Stewart got it for the second time along with being named as WNBA Finals MVP. The forward player finished Game 3 of this series with 26 points, setting a WNBA record by scoring more than 20 points in six consecutive WNBA Finals. What a comeback after an injury!
Seattle Storms were not only the better team on court to lift the WNBA trophy but the girl squad also showed much more potential and growth after playing each game. With every team member contributing in the finals, Seattle Storms earned the title for the fourth time. Congratulations!
