Riding high on emotions, Deepika will bring to us a never seen avatar in ‘Chhapaak’. The movie is all set to take us through the journey of Malti and is set to hit theatres on 10 January.
Meanwhile, just to see how people treat the acid attack survivors, Deepika tried a social experiment.
For this experiment, Deepika changed her physical appearance and got into the skin of her ‘Chhapaak’ character. You will be shocked as to how people treated and reacted on being surrounded by the acid attack survivors.
Deepika along with four other acid attack survivors went to four different places in Mumbai to see how people respond to their presence. From glares, covering the eyes of a kid, avoiding communication to help them, our society shocked us. However, there were some kind spirited too, who gave them suggestions at times of confusion, smiled at them as they passed by, and even shared some light moments.
