The Indian pair is currently ranked at World number Eleven and created a huge buzz after defeating the World number Two pair in Paris. Satwiksairaj and Chirag were aiming to become the second Indian player to win French Open after 1983 victory of Partho Ganguli and Vikram Singh.
The Indian athletes met their third defeat in the tour while seventh defeat against the Indonesian players. The Rankireddy-Shetty duo performed exceptionally well but trailed behind the Indonesian duo who without missing any moment finished the match in 35 minutes, clinching another gold in Men’s double category.
